Naperville, IL is one of the largest suburbs of Chicago at close to 160,000 residents. With its size comes four zip codes, two school districts and two counties. Neighboring towns also feed into Naperville schools like parts of Lisle, IL and Aurora, IL. Here are some PRO TIPS on best ways to narrow your home search in Naperville. My recommendations for search sites would be the one that you feel most comfortable with and use most often. I offer a few options. Best being ZENLIST which has powerful search features and also allows you to see the vast majority of the “Coming Soon” market. You can request a subscription to my Zenlist by clicking on this link.

SCHOOL DISTRICTS
District 203: This include Naperville North and Naperville Central High Schools. The Junior Highs are named after Presidents including Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln. Most elementary schools are named after the neighborhood they are in like Steeple Run Elementary but there are exceptions. District 203 is mostly to the north, east and central parts of Naperville. There are a few neighborhoods in Lisle (to the east of Naperville) that feed into 203. Those neighborhoods are Green Trails, Beau Bien, Radcliff Ridge and Peach Creek.
District 204: Also known as the “Indian Prairie School District” it includes Metea Valley, Waubonsie Valley and Neuqua Valley High Schools. This school district serves the south and west ends of Naperville. There are also portions of Aurora, IL to the west that feed into the schools and some of the schools are located within Aurora’s boundaries. Thirty-three schools are a part of District 204 including the four high schools mentioned above.
MISCELANEOUS
Naperville does flow into Will County where the majority of the city is located in DuPage County. You can search this way but school district and zip code are, in my opinion, more effective ways to narrow your search. Searching by the train lines is another great way to search if you commute by train and want to search by map and drawing boundaries. Most good search sites have this feature. Those who commute by car to downtown Chicago typically want to stay north in Naperville or on the east side to access I-355.
